The Opportunity The Director of the EY Learning & Development Design Studio will lead the transformation of the Studio into a modern, marketing-inspired, and GenAI-enabled creative hub that defines how learning is experienced across the Americas. This role sits at the intersection of learning strategy, creative excellence, and enterprise execution, with responsibility for shaping high-impact live and digital learning products that influence leaders, teams, and culture at scale. As a senior leader within the Learning & Development ecosystem, this role translates enterprise priorities into compelling learning experiences-ensuring development offerings are aligned to firm strategy, consistently branded, and designed to drive real behavior change. The Director will serve as a thought leader for learner experience, elevating the quality, relevance, and impact of learning across the Americas while setting the standard for innovation, creativity, and experimentation. This is a highly visible role requiring close collaboration with senior stakeholders, Centers of Excellence, and global partners, and offers a unique opportunity to redefine what world-class learning design looks like in a complex, matrixed organization. Your Key Responsibilities Lead and evolve the Learning & Development Design Studio into a product-oriented creative function, shifting from process-driven execution to the development of differentiated live and digital learning products. Set the strategic vision for learner experience across the Americas, ensuring learning solutions align with enterprise priorities and reflect a cohesive brand and narrative. Build, lead, and scale a high-performing, multidisciplinary creative team, including digital designers, motion and 3D designers, and emerging creative roles as the function evolves. Champion the use of GenAI and emerging technologies to accelerate content creation, enhance personalization, and unlock new forms of learner engagement. Oversee the design and delivery of innovative live, hybrid, and digital learning experiences, with a strong focus on quality, storytelling, and measurable impact. Partner closely with senior L& D leaders, Centers of Expertise, and service lines to align development initiatives across the Americas and connect local execution to global priorities. Establish and uphold design, quality, and experience standards across all learning products, ensuring consistency, accessibility, and excellence at scale. Act as a steward of the Studio's brand, messaging, and creative reputation across the firm. Recruit, develop, and inspire creative talent, fostering a culture of experimentation, continuous improvement, and proactive idea generation. Guide resource planning and capability investment for the Design Studio, ensuring capacity and skills evolve in line with enterprise needs. Skills and Attributes for Success Proven senior leadership experience within a design studio, creative agency, media organization, or innovation-led environment-not a traditional learning or HR function. Demonstrated ability to lead enterprise-scale creative transformation, balancing strategic vision with hands-on execution.
