This role is fully onsite 5 days a week in Baltimore, MD. Role Summary We are seeking a Technical Product Manager to help modernize the core services that power a customer originations journey. This role takes a structured, service by service approach to unpacking complex, legacy systems and translating them into incremental, deliverable improvements. The Technical Product Manager will build clarity around current state architecture, dependencies, data flows, and operational constraints, then partner with engineering, architecture, and product leadership to shape a forward looking, modular, and scalable service ecosystem. Success requires strong technical fluency, systems thinking, and a pragmatic, execution focused mindset. Top Must Have Skills 4 plus years of experience as a Product Manager, Technical Product Manager, Technical Program Manager, or in a similar role with product and technical ownership responsibilities Strong technical fluency with system architecture, data pipelines, microservices, and service contracts, with the ability to discuss trade offs without owning implementation Proven ability to manage cross team dependencies and risks in complex environments using tools such as Jira and Confluence Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical constraints into business impact and business goals into technical context Ability to operate effectively in ambiguity and create clarity through structured discovery and prioritization Additional Qualifications Experience in financial services or regulated industries Background in software engineering, systems architecture, or technical analysis Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, containerization, and modern deployment patterns Experience with architecture modernization initiatives and iterative greenfield or re platforming efforts Responsibilities Own and evolve the cross team technical roadmap in partnership with product and engineering leadership, ensuring work is clearly prioritized, sequenced, and ready for delivery Develop a deep understanding of existing services, including architecture, data flows, dependencies, and operational constraints, and document current state clearly Partner with engineering managers and technical leads to define and refine technical requirements, capturing architectural decisions, constraints, and trade offs Decompose complex initiatives into clear, outcome oriented increments that can be delivered within a single sprint and provide observable business value Proactively identify, track, and manage cross team dependencies and risks, surfacing trade offs and recommendations to enable on time delivery Serve as the product advocate by clearly articulating business drivers to technical teams and explaining technical considerations and impacts to non technical stakeholders Foster strong relationships and trust across product, engineering, and architecture teams through proactive, no surprise communication and shared understanding In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data, including financial information. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
