Job Description

Job Title Global Analytics & Insights Associate Director, Oncology (Lung)
Location:
Gaithersburg, MD US Introduction to role Global Analytics & Insights (GA&I) mission is to improve the quality of the decisions taken on our oncology assets through the creation and delivery of excellent market, customer, and competitor analytics. This role is based in our Oncology team and will lead the generation of insight and analytics within our lung cancer portfolio. The key to excelling in this role is your ability to turn analysis into a clear story and recommendations for senior leaders. To develop these, you will be a critical thinker capable of delivering well researched, verified, and relevant analyses in a clear and impactful way. This requires the ability to lead without authority alongside strong analytical and communication skills. You will be comfortable formulating cohesive, strategic arguments which may be used to respectfully challenge a group of experts. In addition, being resourceful, motivated, decisive and proactive will help equip you in this role. You must be able to prioritise in a fast-growing organization and be confident working with incomplete data.
Accountabilities:
ANALYTICS
Work with data experts to conduct analysis of complex datasets, including electronic medical records, claims data, and quantitative survey raw data Share your commercial and strategic acumen with data experts
  • and 'ask the right questions', to generate actionable insights to inform strategic decisions
INSIGHTS
Design strategy-shaping qualitative and quantitative market research
  • to build our deep customer understanding Lead insights synthesis process (with support from broader team)
  • connecting dots and looking for patterns / disconnects between all our analytics and primary market research materials and datasets
FORECASTING
Ensure every assumption is deeply interrogated
  • with primary and secondary data and RWD analytics.
Direct forecast analysts to build and manage patient flow forecast models, and lead delivery of outputs for forecasting cycles
PERFORMANCE
Co-Lead KPI development, in partnership with commercial
  • identifying best measures to assess delivery of commercial strategy. Ensuring they are measurable (data limitations), and actually drivers of business Analyze in-market performance
  • including source of business
  • to identify growth opportunities GENERAL Move between being deep in data, to communicating findings in a succinct way that is tailored to the altitude of the stakeholder Possess or develop deep tumour knowledge
  • becoming an expert in your designated tumours (which may include lung, BTC, HCC, HNSCC, cervical)
Essential Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in science, mathematics or data-related field 3 years relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry, consultancy or investment bank AI expertise or enthusiasm Qualitative and quantitative market research experience Oncology experience
Desirable:

The annual base pay (or hourly rate of compensation) for this position ranges $194,571.20
  • $291,856.
80 USD Annual. Our positions offer eligibility for various incentives—an opportunity to receive short-term incentive bonuses, equity-based awards for salaried roles and commissions for sales roles.
