P osition Overview The Senior Manager/Director of Product Line Operations is responsible for building the operational and planning foundation that drives the long-term competitiveness of Visteon's product portfolio. This role ensures that technology roadmaps, product planning cycles, incentive measures, revenue/growth targets, and business development engagements operate with clarity, discipline, and strategic alignment. This leader will orchestrate planning and governance across our Product Lines (Cockpit Electronics/AI, Electrification, Displays), Engineering, Strategy, Finance, and Customer Groups to enable consistent execution, data-driven decision-making, and portfolio prioritization. The role is pivotal in harmonizing product strategy with operational rhythms, including monthly business reviews, roadmap governance, investment planning, and cross-functional alignment.
Key Stakeholders:
VP Product Lines, Product Line leaders, Engineering (HW/SW/Systems), Strategy, Finance, Regional teams, Business Development, Program Management, Operations, External partners. Key Objectives of the Role Lead multi-year technology and product roadmap planning, ensuring alignment with customer needs, competitive trends, platform strategy, and Product Line priorities. Drive an integrated product planning calendar covering roadmaps, investments, platform decisions, KPI cycles, and strategic reviews. Refine and manage Product Line KPIs and incentive measures tied to revenue, margin, growth, and milestone execution. Lead monthly product line reviews, maintaining a unified view of portfolio performance, maturity, risks, and required actions. Manage the business development and OEM engagement schedule, ensuring consistent messaging, aligned priorities, and roadmap readiness. Coordinate with regional teams on customer strategy, RFQs/RFIs, and go-to-market alignment. Serve as the operational integrator across Product Lines, Engineering, Finance, Program Management, and Strategy to ensure capacity, financials, and execution plans remain aligned. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Quality and alignment of annual and long-range technology and product roadmaps Predictability and quality of Product Line monthly reviews and decision-making Adoption and impact of Product Line incentive measures/KPIs Alignment between Product Lines, Engineering, Customer Groups, and Business Development Efficiency of planning cycles and reduction of process friction Qualifications, Experience & Skills 8-12+ years in strategic planning, product operations, product management, or business planning. Experience in automotive, electronics, or technology product organizations strongly preferred. Strong understanding of product lifecycle, platform strategy, and technology roadmapping. Demonstrated success driving operational governance and cross-functional alignment. Skilled in analytics, KPI design, planning cycles, and executive reporting. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, or related field; Master's/MBA preferred.Key Leadership Behaviors Strategic clarity:
