Job Description:
The US Wire Product Management team as part of the International Payments team is responsible for end-to-end management and development of US Wire Payments Product for Bank of America's Global Payments Solutions (GPS) business. The team manages the US Wire product platform that is not only shared by all eight lines of business at the bank but also is required by the other bank products and services to operate, such as FX, cross-border RTP, Trade, Liquidity and Global Markets. The team is also responsible for overseeing and executing various large-scale industry initiatives such as the
ISO 20022
implementation and 24x7x365 cross border payments processing. Addionally, the team supports all GPS corporate and commercial client segments, including multinational corporates, non-bank financial institutions, commercial/middle market and specialty industries such as gig economy players and fintechs, iconic tech companies and business banking clients. This role is a key member of the US Wire Product Team and supports the head of US Wire Product and other senior product managers in various initiaves, such as delivering an industry-wide payments market infrastructure changes, and creating product strategies for senior executives and stakeholders. Some examples of the job responsibilities include: Assist with creating and maintaining product risk routines (e.g. managing collection of risk metrics and KPIs) Work closely with opperational, technical, and compliance partners to collaborate on a cross-functional projects Assist with data/analytics for product performance Assist with developing business cases to support technology and operational changes to improve product profitability and win market shares There is not a better time to join this team, as the global payments business is going through an exceptional period of changes and evolution as investment in improvement in market infrastructures accelerates and the competitive landscape expands with bank and non-bank players such as fintechs.
