About Role Ring Concierge is a rapidly growing, female-founded fine jewelry company specializing in customized engagement rings and fine jewelry. We're seeking a highly organized and detail-driven Product Development Associate to support the end-to-end development of our jewelry collections. This role is ideal for someone early in their product development career who is passionate about jewelry, eager to learn, and excited to work at the intersection of design, sourcing, and operations within a fast-growing DTC brand. You will play a critical role in keeping development on track by managing samples, coordinating with vendors, maintaining product data, and ensuring new styles are launch-ready on time and on cost. Responsibilities Product Development Support Support the product development process from concept through production Maintain product development calendars, track milestones, and sample status to ensure timelines are met Maintain organized records of styles, revisions, materials, approvals, and delivery timelines Own and maintain internal product development tools, including, but not limited to, PD Masterfile, Product Details Decks, and product knowledge files Sampling & Vendor Coordination Coordinate sample requests, revisions, and approvals with domestic and international vendors Track sample shipments, manage intake, organize samples, and prepare them for internal reviews Own sample shipping (to/from vendors) and maintain accurate sample logs Communicate detailed feedback to vendors regarding fit, construction, materials, and finishes of all samples Costing, Invoicing & Data Management Assist with product costing, margin tracking, and vendor quotes Track sample costs, submit and track sample invoices, partnering closely with the AP team to ensure accuracy and timely processing Maintain accurate and up-to-date product data across all internal systems and tools Monitor and understand implications of raw material and gold market fluctuations Raw Materials & Sourcing Assist with sourcing and procurement of gemstones, diamonds, findings, and chain to meet design specifications and production timelines Compile and maintain a library of materials for design reference and future product development Quality Assurance & Launch Readiness Support QA processes by checking samples for quality, accuracy, and wearability Flag issues related to construction, durability, or consistency Assist with production readiness and pre-launch approvals Support packaging coordination and ensure packaging requirements are communicated and executed for new product launches Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with Merchandising, Marketing, Creative, and Operations to support product launches and ongoing initiatives Provide product details, specs, and sample coordination for photoshoots, marketing, and e-commerce regular sample status updates and ensure cross-functional alignment on timelines Help prepare internal product education and launch materials Customer & Market Insight Support Help track customer feedback, returns data, and wear-test insights Assist in implementing product improvements based on real-world usage Support competitive and trend analysis to inform product development decisions Additional Support Assist in processing engravable product orders as needed Support ad hoc product development, operational, and team initiatives as they arise Requirements 3+ years of experience in product development, production, or sourcing within the jewelry industry required DTC experience preferred Experience with overseas vendors preferred Strong interest in jewelry design, materials, and craftsmanship Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail Strong communication skills and comfort working with vendors Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Details Full-time role located in Midtown NYC This role requires 5 days per week in officeOffice Hours:
