Product Development Overview:

The Product Development role at Gluska Management oversees product development from concept through launch and lifecycle management. This role bridges vendor sourcing, compliance, testing, pricing, and rollout strategy to ensure products are market-ready, compliant, profitable, and aligned with distribution demand across all channels.

Role & Responsibilities:

Source new product opportunities, including vendor proposals, white-label products, and test-sell initiatives Coordinate product sampling, testing, surveys, and approval processes Oversee compliance reviews, lab testing, and internal quality checks Manage product launch calendars and coordinate releases across wholesale, retail, and digital channels Collaborate with marketing and operations on new product rollouts, pricing updates, and promotional alignment Review product sales reports to inform onboarding, discontinuation, and phase-out decisions Manage packaging, labeling, barcodes, and GS1 requirements Oversee product expiration processes and lifecycle management Coordinate vendor sourcing and negotiations, including pricing and terms Support Amazon and marketplace product development, compliance, and sales tracking Prepare weekly updates and monthly reports on product development and wholesale performance

Authority & Decision-Making:

This role manages day-to-day product development execution. Strategic pricing, new product onboarding, vendor agreements, and large-scale launches are conducted in collaboration with Operations and executive leadership.
