IP Product Manager

Job Overview We are looking for an experienced and innovative IP Product Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the development and lifecycle of IP products, ensuring they meet the needs of our customers while aligning with business goals. You will work closely with engineering, design, sales, marketing, and customer support teams to create and deliver top-tier access control solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in: IP speakers, IP cameras, a deep understanding of market trends and customer needs, and strong product management skills to drive product success.

Key Responsibilities Product Strategy & Vision :

Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for IP products. Ensure the product roadmap aligns with business objectives and customer needs.

Market Research :

Conduct market analysis to identify customer pain points, industry trends, and opportunities for new product features or innovations.

Cross-Functional Collaboration :

Collaborate with engineering, sales, marketing, and customer support teams to ensure the successful development, launch, and ongoing optimization of access control products.

Customer Engagement :

Engage with customers, partners, and internal teams to gather feedback, define requirements, and ensure products meet customer needs and industry standards.

Product Development :

Oversee the product lifecycle from ideation to launch, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions. Prioritize features, manage product backlogs, and oversee day-to-day project execution.

Compliance & Standards :

Ensure the product complies with relevant industry regulations, security standards, and best practices.

Competitive Analysis :

Monitor and assess competitive products and industry trends to inform product development and positioning.

Training & Support :

Provide product knowledge and training to sales and customer support teams. Develop user guides, technical documentation, and marketing materials.

Business Performance :

Define and track product KPIs (e.g., adoption rates, customer satisfaction, revenue) and make data-driven decisions to enhance product performance.

Product Feedback :

Analyze user feedback and product performance to recommend continuous improvements and feature updates.

Qualifications Education :

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.

Experience :

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in product management, with a focus on IP products or related technologies.

Technical Expertise :

Strong understanding of IP video and cloud-based platforms

Market Knowledge :

Familiarity with the physical security industry, including regulatory standards, and challenges.

Project Management Skills :

Proven ability to manage product development projects from start to finish, working in Agile or Scrum environments.

Communication Skills :

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders alike.

Problem-Solving :

Ability to identify issues, analyze data, and create effective solutions.

Customer-Centric :

Passionate about understanding customer needs and delivering solutions that meet or exceed their expectations. Preferred Qualifications Experience with integration of systems into broader security platforms (e.g., video surveillance, building management systems). Familiarity with cloud-based or SaaS-based access control products.
