Job Description:
An established luxury lifestyle brand is seeking an experienced Product Development Manager to lead end-to-end development, sourcing, costing, and production execution across premium product categories. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead full product development lifecycle from concept through commercialization
  • Partner with creative and cross-functional teams to translate design direction into production-ready product
  • Manage development calendars, sampling, approvals, QA, and production execution
  • Oversee domestic and international vendor / manufacturing relationships
  • Drive material sourcing, component development, supplier negotiations, and vendor performance management
  • Own costing analysis, pricing strategy, margin optimization, landed costs, and budget oversight
  • Identify and resolve development, production, sourcing, and quality challenges proactively
  • Build and improve internal workflows, trackers, and product development processes
  • Partner closely with merchandising, operations, sales, and executive leadership to support business objectives
  • Travel as needed to support vendor relationships, sourcing initiatives, and production execution Qualifications
  • 5+ years of product development experience within luxury accessories, premium consumer products, or fine jewelry
  • GIA Certification strongly preferred / required for jewelry-focused backgrounds
  • Strong experience managing domestic and overseas factories / vendor partnerships
  • Proven expertise in costing, sourcing, vendor negotiations, pricing strategy, and full product lifecycle execution
  • Advanced Excel required;
PLM / ERP
experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of premium materials, construction, sourcing, manufacturing processes, and quality standards
  • Existing New York vendor network within luxury accessories / premium product categories strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication, leadership, project management, and organizational skills
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment with evolving priorities
