Job Description

Our client, a wholesale apparel manufacturing brand is seeking a Technical Designer in NYC!
Responsibilities:
‍ Oversee product fit and construction throughout development. Review samples for measurements, workmanship, and overall quality. Create and maintain technical documentation, including specifications, construction details, and development notes. Partner closely with design, production, and vendor teams to support product execution. Help identify solutions related to fit, construction, quality, and overall product performance. Manage multiple styles and categories while supporting seasonal calendars and key deadlines. Communicate updates and technical comments clearly with internal teams and external partners. Support process improvements and maintain organization of fit standards, development tools, and technical records. Ensure products are developed accurately and aligned with company expectations for quality, fit, and consistency. ‍
Qualifications:
‍ Bachelor's degree 5+ years of experience Strong understanding of garment construction, fit, and apparel development processes. Experience creating and updating technical packages/specifications throughout development. Ability to review samples and identify construction, fit, or quality issues. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Effective communication and collaboration skills. Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft Office, and PLM systems preferred. Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and follow-through skills. 4 days onsite, 1 day WFH ‍ ‍ Please submit a resume for consideration!
