Job Description

Only qualified Associate Product Developer candidates located near the Manhattan New York 10038 area to be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence (2-3 days in office 2-3 remote)Education-
  • Bachelor's degree (Bachelors) in product development or related field or equivalent experienceQualifications
  • 1 to 3 years of related experience
  • Strong problem solving and communication skills
  • Basic fabric knowledge preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word Excel and Outlook
  • Knowledge of product lifecycle in retail environment
  • Strong organization collaboration and interpersonal skills
  • Basic knowledge of PLM systems Centric preferred
  • Self motivated and able to work independently
  • Strong teamwork and multitasking ability
  • Basic understanding of garment constructionResponsibilities
  • Order sample yardage at greige and color level within PLM system
  • Process vendor and supplier invoices for sample yardage and sample making
  • Own sampling process for assigned categories ensuring timely and accurate sample delivery
  • Maintain communication with vendors and suppliers to align with production calendar
  • Coordinate with cross functional teams including Design Product Development Merchandising and external partners
  • Attend cross functional meetings and represent sampling updates and priorities
  • Maintain and report on sample yardage cost and readiness tracking
  • Update seasonal sample trackers and provide reporting for milestone meetings
  • Support leadership dashboards with key metrics and updates
  • Identify process improvements and anticipate business needs
  • Manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines effectively
  • Handle physical samples including moving organizing and shipping products
