Job Description:
About the Role In this role, you will support the ideation, development, implementation, and execution of the production and vendor capability strategy, delivering value through a strong balance of innovation, quality, and cost efficiency. You will operate within a highly matrixed global organization as part of a cross-functional product team including Design, Merchandising, Technical Design, Quality Assurance, Sustainability, Fabric R D, and Global Sourcing. The role requires strong attention to detail to ensure the product pipeline meets key milestones and supports product-to-market (P2M) timelines. What You'll Do
  • Understand product development impacts on merchandising and design decisions across category and vendor strategies.
  • Facilitate communication between brand teams and Asia-based product teams to ensure alignment and responsiveness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to achieve financial targets through accurate cost guidance.
  • Provide early garment costing with full consideration of all cost components.
  • Maintain Bills of Materials (BOM) within the PLM system to support accurate product execution.
  • Partner with Asia-based teams to identify and resolve product execution issues in a timely manner.
  • Monitor P2M calendar milestones and escalate risks or delays impacting deadlines.
  • Support seasonal strategies to minimize fabric pre-buy exposure and manage liabilities when required.
  • Execute category-level product development strategies aligned with production and divisional objectives. Who You Are
  • Experienced in global product development with exposure to design, merchandising, and vendor/category management.
  • Strong problem solver with the ability to manage multiple priorities and mitigate P2M risks balancing cost, supplier, and timeline constraints.
  • Collaborative partner with proven ability to influence across a matrixed, global environment with speed and cultural awareness.
  • Highly adaptable learner with curiosity, openness to feedback, and drive to develop new skills.
  • Effective communicator who can translate data and insights clearly for cross-functional decision-making.
  • Experienced in managing product categories in coordination with cross-functional and international sourcing teams.
