Director, Business Applications About Nassau CandyNassau Candy is a premier manufacturer, importer, and distributor of specialty confections, fine foods, and promotional products. As we continue to scale, we are investing in modern business systems to drive efficiency, visibility, and growth across our manufacturing, distribution, and promotional business lines. Position SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Product Manager, Business Applications to lead a strategic ERP transformation to NetSuite in partnership with a third-party implementation firm.This role serves as the critical bridge between business and technologyfocusing not just on delivery, but on defining what to build and why. You will drive prioritization, user experience, and long-term platform evolution to support scalable operations across the organization. Key Responsibilities Product Strategy & VisionDefine and own the NetSuite product vision aligned to company growth strategyDevelop and maintain a multi-phase product roadmap (implementation + post-go-live)Identify opportunities to standardize, simplify, and digitize processesBalance short-term delivery with long-term scalability Backlog Management & PrioritizationOwn and manage the NetSuite product backlog across key functions:
Manufacturing (production, quality, lot/traceability)Distribution (inventory, warehousing, logistics)Promotional/Souvenir business (pricing, rebates, trade programs)Translate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and success metricsPrioritize features based on business value, ROI, and operational impactMake trade-off decisions between customization and standard functionality Business & User EngagementPartner with stakeholders across Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, and SalesLead discovery sessions, workshops, and user interviewsAct as the voice of the user to ensure intuitive and effective solutionsDrive alignment on process changes and system capabilities Collaboration with Delivery TeamsWork closely with:
Internal IT and engineering teamsExternal NetSuite implementation partnersParticipate in solution design sessionsValidate proposed solutions and ensure requirements are clearly understoodAccept or reject deliverables based on defined criteria Data, Reporting & InsightsDefine KPIs and success metrics for NetSuite capabilitiesEnsure dashboards and reporting support decision-makingDrive data consistency and governance across business unitsLeverage analytics to identify continuous improvement opportunities Change Management & AdoptionChampion adoption of new processes and system capabilitiesPartner on training strategy and materialsEnsure business readiness for releasesGather post-launch feedback and drive continuous improvement Post-Go-Live Product OwnershipTransition from implementation to ongoing product ownershipManage release cycles, enhancements, and optimization initiativesBuild internal expertise to reduce reliance on external partnersDrive innovation leveraging NetSuite and its ecosystem Required QualificationsBachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain, IT, or related field58+ years of experience in Product Management, Business Systems, or ERP leadershipHands-on experience with NetSuite or similar ERP platformsStrong understanding of Food & Beverage operations:
Manufacturing (batch production, quality, lot tracking)Distribution and supply chain operationsTrade promotions, pricing, and rebatesExperience writing user stories, managing backlogs, and working in Agile environments Preferred QualificationsNetSuite certifications (SuiteFoundation, ERP Consultant)Experience working with implementation partners or system integratorsFamiliarity with integrations (WMS, EDI, CRM, 3PL, payment gateways, shipping systems)Experience in multi-entity or global ERP environments Key CompetenciesStrong product mindset (customer-centric and value-driven)Ability to translate complex business needs into scalable solutionsInfluence stakeholders without direct authorityData-driven decision-makingClear communication and storytellingComfort operating in ambiguity during transformation Success MetricsAdoption and satisfaction of NetSuite across business unitsMeasurable improvements in operational efficiencyReduction in manual processes and workaroundsDelivery of high-impact features aligned to roadmapStrong backlog health and predictable release execution Ideal CandidateA strategic, hands-on Product Manager who thrives in transformation environmentssomeone who can bridge business and technology, drive clarity in ambiguity, and build scalable systems that support long-term growth at Nassau Candy.
