Job Description
Zircoa Inc. is seeking a dynamic and skilled Product Manager to lead and grow our Insulating Structures product line and complementary offerings for high-temperature furnace linings in the glass, high-purity quartz, carbon black, and crystal growth industries. This role is critical to our mission of providing industry-leading, durable specialty refractories, including refractory brick, custom shapes, castable, and loose back up materials . The Product Manager will be responsible for key account and distributor management, business development, technical support, marketing, and new product opportunity identification and justification.
Essential Functions:
Key Account Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts in the glass, high-purity quartz, carbon black, and crystal growth sectors, understanding customer needs and ensuring high levels of satisfaction. Distributor Management:
Manage and expand distributor relationships to drive product sales and penetration in target markets. Business Development:
Identify, qualify, and pursue new market opportunities within and beyond existing markets, driving growth for Zircoa's insulating structures product line. Strategy and Business Planning:
Define and implement strategic plans for the insulating structures product line to ensure sustainable value and growth. Technical Support:
Serve as the technical product expert, providing application guidance and support to customers to optimize product performance in high-temperature environments. Marketing & Promotion:
Develop and execute marketing strategies, collateral, and campaigns to position Zircoa insulating structures as the preferred choice in the industry. New Product Development:
Identify new product opportunities based on customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape, providing business justification for development initiatives. Sales Forecasting:
Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts based on market data, customer insights, and historical trends to support production planning and revenue targets. Qualification:

Collect, analyze, and effectively communicate customer feedback to all stakeholders. Act as the bridge between customers and Zircoa's internal teams to ensure products align with market expectations and customer needs. Education & Experience BS in technical field (e.g. Material Science, Ceramic or Chemical Engineering) or equivalent experience required. MBA or demonstrated skills in strategic planning and business development strongly preferred. Minimum 5 years with a proven track record of technical sales, product management, or business development. Experience in glass manufacturing, high-purity quartz, carbon black, or crystal growth facilities, or as a supplier to these industries strongly preferred. Pay:
