WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH
This role sits within the Jordan Footwear Development team at Nike World Headquarters in Beaverton. Working in close partnership with Design, Product Management, Engineering, Materials, and Factory Product Creation teams, this role reports to the Senior Footwear Product Development Director and serves as a key connector across the Jordan Brand matrix and global manufacturing partners.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Jordan Brand is looking for a Lead Footwear Product Developer who brings craft, clarity, and leadership to the heart of product creation. This person is a trusted driver of footwear development, combining strong technical knowledge with disciplined project management and collaborative influence. They move seamlessly between vision and execution—guiding teams through complex decisions while protecting design intent, performance, and craftsmanship. A natural problem solver and clear communicator, they thrive in fast‑paced environments, adapt quickly to shifting timelines, and lead with confidence and curiosity. They understand how to navigate cross‑functional and global partnerships, instill trust across teams, and push product excellence forward in every phase of development. Open to work in Beaverton, Oregon Minimum of 6 years of applicable footwear product development experience Bachelor's degree in a related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training Proven project management and cross‑functional leadership experience Strong communication and influencing skills with senior leaders and global partners
WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON
You will drive product and process excellence across complex Jordan footwear projects, translating ideas into scalable, athlete‑driven product. From early concepts through commercialization, you'll balance craft, performance, cost, and sustainability while keeping teams aligned and moving forward. Lead footwear projects from 2D design through 3D prototyping and final commercialization Partner daily with Design, Engineering, Materials, and Factory teams to deliver product excellence Recommend materials, components, and constructions that meet performance and craftsmanship standards Manage timelines, gates, and critical dates across the full product creation process Solve construction, tooling, and manufacturing challenges proactively Ensure products are ready for scale manufacturing while meeting Jordan quality standards We offer a number of accommodations to complete our interview process including screen readers, sign language interpreters, accessible and single location for in-person interviews, closed captioning, and other reasonable modifications as needed.
