WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH
You will work closely with the Tennis Product Director as well as Design, Technical Development, Merchandising, Sports Marketing, and elite athletes.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for someone that has strong product experience & intuition for business. Through honesty, integrity, and willingness, this candidate is looking to grow and challenge themselves. An individual who has a proven track record of positively influencing internal and external partners. This candidate will work with others as one team, supporting others in doing meaningful work, driving impact for the consumer and athlete, and connecting to sport and sport lifestyle every day. This person will think big, break down barriers, innovate and implement in service of the athlete. The candidate needs to have heightened awareness of women's fashion and performance industries/competitive landscape, a passion for Nike and Women's product, and confidence with verbal and written communication. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Retail Merchandising, Business or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience, and training. Minimum 6 years' relevant experience in product-related roles Must have Product management experience. Knowledge in performance apparel is a plus. Leads with a positive collective spirit and creates a 'one team' environment across functions. Ability to operate effectively even when the way forward is not clear and to take an ambiguous situation and create a clear path forward for the cross-functional team. Ability to communicate in consistent, clear, agile, and timely manner with cross-functional partners - written and verbally. Strategic thinking with ability to balance elite athlete needs and unlock retail opportunities. Leads by example and can holds team accountable for meeting deadlines and delivering quality work. Ability to travel up to 30% domestic and international.
WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON
If this is you, you will manage and oversee the product creation for our elite to everyday Tennis athletes. This is a high visibility role with both strategic and creative facets of the work. You will lead product and design reviews, connect with merchandising at key strategy check-ins, participate in cross-functional meetings, create compelling visual tools to influence design, merchandising and our downstream geography partners.
