Exempt Position Summary:
The Global Product Manager - Traceable is responsible for managing the strategy, lifecycle, and performance of products within the Traceable portfolio. This role works closely with the General Manager to execute the portfolio s strategic growth plan while ensuring products meet customer needs, regulatory requirements, and financial objectives. The Product Manager serves as the cross-functional leader for assigned products, partnering with Sales, Marketing, Operations, R&D, and Customer Service to drive product development, successful launches, and ongoing portfolio optimization. This role requires a blend of market insight, commercial acumen, and technical understanding to translate customer needs into differentiated products and sustainable business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Strategy & Lifecycle Management Manage the full product lifecycle for assigned Traceable products, from concept through launch, growth, and end-of-life. Support the development and execution of the product roadmap aligned with portfolio strategy and market opportunities. Identify opportunities for product enhancements, new product development, and portfolio optimization. Develop product positioning, value propositions, and pricing strategies. Market & Customer Insights Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats. Gather and synthesize customer and sales feedback to inform product improvements and new product concepts. Maintain a deep understanding of key customer segments, applications, and industry needs. Cross-Functional Leadership Act as the central point of coordination between commercial, technical, and operational teams. Partner with R&D and operations to support product development, testing, and commercialization. Work with Marketing to develop product messaging, content, and go-to-market strategies. Support Sales with product training, tools, and customer-facing materials. Product Launch & Commercial Support Lead cross-functional product launch planning and execution. Develop sales enablement materials including product documentation, competitive positioning, and training. Collaborate with Sales to support key customer opportunities and strategic accounts. Portfolio Performance & Optimization Monitor product performance including revenue, margin, and market share. Support forecasting, pricing analysis, and portfolio profitability reviews. Recommend portfolio adjustments based on performance data and market conditions. Performs other duties as assigned.
Education:
Bachelor s degree in business, science, engineering, or related field.
Experience:
5+ years of experience in product management, ideally within manufacturing, scientific, or technical product environments.
Qualifications:
Experience managing technical or regulated products preferred. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market and financial data. Demonstrated ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams . Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills. Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, efficiently works under pressure, within deadlines or other essential time constraints. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to clearly and concisely communicate to all levels of the organization. Strong work ethic and an ability to excel within a rapidly changing and growing organization. 10% travel required.
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary Range:
$110,000-$135,000, depending on location, experience, and qualifications.
