Capstone IT is helping our client find a Product Manager who will lead the strategy, roadmap, and execution of enterprise payment solutions across retail stores, mobile applications, and digital commerce platforms. This person will own the payments ecosystem, working with internal business teams, technology leaders, and external vendors to improve customer payment experiences while ensuring scalability, security, compliance, and operational efficiency. They will drive payment modernization initiatives, manage vendor relationships, and develop long-term payment strategies that support business growth. Top 4 Skills Enterprise Payments Product Ownership Payment Ecosystem & Vendor Management Product Roadmap & Strategy Development PCI Compliance & Payment Security Responsibilities Product Strategy & Ownership Own the enterprise payments product roadmap and long-term strategy. Define priorities and drive execution across multiple payment initiatives. Identify opportunities to improve payment experiences and operational efficiency. Payments Ecosystem Management Manage payment technologies across stores, mobile, and eCommerce channels. Oversee payment processors, gateways, acquiring banks, middleware, and payment hardware. Evaluate emerging payment technologies and industry trends. Vendor & Partner Management Lead RFP processes and technology evaluations. Assess and select payment vendors and strategic partners. Manage vendor relationships and support contract negotiations. Cross-Functional Leadership Partner with technology, architecture, finance, operations, security, legal, and compliance teams. Align stakeholders around priorities and execution plans. Manage risks, dependencies, and organizational readiness. Compliance & Performance Ensure PCI compliance and adherence to payment security standards. Define KPIs and measure business outcomes. Continuously optimize payment capabilities using performance data. Qualifications Required Experience managing products, platforms, or services through the full product lifecycle. Strong product roadmap and strategic planning experience. Ability to gather requirements and translate business needs into product initiatives. Experience working with cross-functional teams and executive stakeholders. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Experience managing stakeholders, priorities, risks, and organizational change. Knowledge of project planning and change management practices. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 3-6 years of product ownership, product management, business analysis, payments, or related experience. Nice to Have Retail, hospitality, eCommerce, or enterprise payments experience. Payment hardware, gateway, processor, acquirer, and vendor management experience. Enterprise RFP and vendor selection experience. PCI compliance and payment security expertise. Experience with highly integrated enterprise platforms. Experience working within complex legacy environments. Leadership or mentoring experience.
