  • Product Manager, RUCKUS Edge,
  • to define and execute the roadmap for one of our most strategic growth areas. This Hybrid role is based out of our Sunnyvale, CA office.
  • How You'll Help Us Connect the
World:
  • Own a strategic product area at the intersection of networking and security, drive platform-level decisions that shape enterprise edge architectures, and build solutions that power real-world, high-demand environments at global scale. This is a high-impact role with end-to-end ownership across product strategy, technical direction, and business outcomes.
  • What You'll Own:
  • Product Strategy & Roadmap
  • + Define and drive the
  • multi-year roadmap
  • for the RUCKUS Edge portfolio + Translate
  • customer needs, market signals, and telemetry
  • into clear priorities and investments + Align execution across
  • hardware, software, cloud, and security teams
  • Technical Leadership
  • Drive direction across key platform areas: +
  • Networking & Transport:
  • VxLAN, GRE for scalable multi-tenant architectures +
  • Routing:
  • BGP, OSPF, IS-IS
    for carrier-grade scale and resiliency +
  • Data Plane & Observability:
  • eBPF, telemetry, programmable data planes +
  • Security:
  • Zero Trust (ZTNA), L4-L7 policy enforcement, firewalling +
  • Secure Access:
  • SASE/SSE, IPsec, WireGuard
  • Business Ownership
  • + Own
  • P&L, pricing strategy, and margin optimization
  • + Build
  • executive business cases
  • and investment proposals + Align Edge strategy with broader company priorities
  • Go-to-Market & Customer Impact
  • + Define
  • differentiation and positioning
  • vs. key competitors + Partner with Product Marketing on
  • messaging and sales enablement
  • + Engage directly with
  • customers, partners, and analysts
  • + Shape solutions across verticals including
  • Hospitality, MDU, Education, Healthcare, and Large Venues
  • Execution & Delivery
  • + Partner closely with engineering in an
  • agile environment
  • + Own backlog, prioritize features, and balance
  • velocity vs. technical debt
  • + Participate in
  • architecture and design reviews
  • What You Bring:
  • + Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field + MBA or equivalent experience preferred + Strong foundation in enterprise networking:
  • BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, VxLAN, GRE, IPsec, WireGuard
  • + Experience with
  • network security
  • (ZTNA, SASE, SSE, firewalls) + Familiarity with
  • modern data planes
  • (eBPF, DPDK) and cloud-native networking + Experience with
  • LAN/WAN or Wi-Fi platforms
  • is a plus
  • Product Management
  • + •7+ years•in product management, including complex networking or platform products + Proven track record delivering products from •concept → launch → lifecycle•+ Experience working in •agile/scrum environments•Business & Leadership•+ Experience contributing to or owning •product P&L and pricing strategy•+ Strong •executive communication skills•+ Ability to lead across •cross-functional, global teams•Market Insight•+ Understanding of enterprise networking and security landscape (Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, Fortinet, Palo Alto) + Familiarity with key verticals: •Hospitality, MDU, Education, Healthcare, LPV.

  • Our salary ranges consider a wide variety of factors, including but not limited to benchmarking by independent third-party consultants, skill sets, years of experience, training, education, geography, and other business needs.
Depending on experience, the range can be higher for candidates with exceptional experience and a demonstrated history of successful performance. This position's expected total compensation (base salary and commission range) is $118,200.00-$180,000.00 The candidate will be rewarded with a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision plans, life and accidental death insurance, a 401(k) plan, and participation in the Company's Incentive Plan. Candidates starting with the Company will be eligible for eleven paid holidays in a full calendar year, two weeks of paid vacation (prorated based on start date), as well as other leave options.
