293438265 Job Description You will report to our Director, Field Systems. This is a remote eligible position and you may work remotely from anywhere in the US where Smartsheet is registered. You Will:
Partner with the Director of Field Systems to define, maintain, and communicate a prioritized product roadmap aligned to company go-to-market objectives
Continuously assess the value, urgency, and feasibility of roadmap initiatives to ensure the team is always working on the highest-impact problems
Translate strategic priorities into quarterly PI (Program Increment) objectives within the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
Engage directly with internal stakeholders including Sales, Sales Operations, Marketing, Finance, Customer Success and Technical Support to deeply understand pain points, workflows, and business goals
Define clear epics, features, and user stories with well-articulated acceptance criteria.
Lead discovery activities including stakeholder interviews, process walkthroughs, and data analysis to inform solution design
Leverage AI tools such as Claude and Gemini to accelerate requirements documentation, synthesize stakeholder feedback, draft communications, and surface insights from data bringing a modern, AI-augmented approach to everyday PM work
Serve as the Product Owner for the agile team, owning and grooming the team backlog to ensure a healthy queue of well-refined work
Actively participate in SAFe ceremonies including PI Planning, Refinement, Sprint Planning, Sprint Retrospectives, and System Demos
Make real-time prioritization and trade-off decisions to keep the team moving and unblocked
Maintain transparent, proactive communication with stakeholders on roadmap status, delivery timelines, and change impacts
Build trust with business partners by consistently delivering on commitments and surfacing risks early
Collaborate with change management and enablement teams to ensure successful adoption of new capabilities
Define success metrics for features and initiatives; track outcomes post-deployment and use data to inform future prioritization
Drive retrospective insights from delivery into roadmap refinement and team process improvements You Have:
5+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years focused on CRM or Salesforce platform products in an enterprise environment
Demonstrated experience working within SAFe or agile framework, including PI Planning and cross-team coordination
Strong product sense with experience balancing user needs, business value, and technical feasibility
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present confidently to senior leaders and technical teams alike
Experience writing detailed epics and features, lean business cases, and user stories with strong assumptions and acceptance criteria
Comfort with data including the ability to query data, interpret metrics, and build business cases
Salesforce Administrator or Business Analyst certification
Experience supporting sales operations, revenue operations, or marketing operations functions
Familiarity with CPQ, Sales Cloud, or Service Cloud implementations
Hands-on experience with AI productivity tools (e.g., Claude, Gemini, ChatGPT) applied to PM workflows such as documentation, research, or analysis.
SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager certification

Actual compensation is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, level of professional, educational experience, skills, and specific candidate location.
