Full-Time Job Description:
Yahoo serves as a trusted guide for hundreds of millions of people globally, helping them achieve their goals online through our portfolio of iconic products. For advertisers, Yahoo Advertising offers omnichannel solutions and powerful data to engage with our brands and deliver results. A Little About Us Yahoo is a global media and tech company that connects people to their interests. We reach nearly 900 million people around the world, bringing them closer to what they love-from finance and sports, to shopping, gaming, and news-through trusted products, content, and technology that fuel their day. For partners, we provide a full-stack platform that helps businesses amplify growth and build meaningful connections across advertising, search, and media. Within Yahoo Games, our mission is to make games a natural extension of the daily Yahoo experience-easy to discover, fun to play, and rewarding to return to. We are building a modern casual games platform that combines high-quality content, strong platform capabilities, and the power of the Yahoo ecosystem to drive engagement at scale. A Lot About You We are seeking a creative, analytical, and results-driven Senior Product Manager (Games) to help define and scale the Yahoo Games portfolio. This role is primarily responsible for driving the growth, engagement, and evolution of our games portfolio, ensuring we deliver a steady pipeline of high-quality experiences that players return to daily. You will lead the development of both first-party and third-party games, owning the strategy and execution required to build a compelling, sustainable portfolio. This includes shaping new game concepts, partnering with internal and external developers, and continuously optimizing performance through data, experimentation, and player insight. You will also play a key role in driving user experience research (UXR)-developing a deep understanding of player behavior, motivations, and market trends, and translating those insights into product decisions that improve engagement, retention, and overall player experience. In addition to games, you will collaborate with our discovery and platform teams to ensure strong alignment to improve how users find and engage with games and platform features that reinforce retention and repeat play. You are equally comfortable thinking strategically and executing day-to-day. You bring a strong understanding of game systems, player behavior, and live operations, and you use data, UXR, and experimentation to drive outcomes. You are also excited about leveraging AI tools and technologies to improve product development, enhance workflows, and unlock new opportunities across gameplay, personalization, and content creation. Your Day at Yahoo Define and evolve the product strategy and roadmap for the Yahoo Games portfolio, aligned with broader company goals. Lead the development and launch of first-party games, third-party integrations, and supporting platform features. Partner with Game Design, Engineering, Product Design, Analytics, and Production to deliver high-quality, engaging game experiences. Drive user experience research (UXR) efforts, leveraging player data, playtests, and market insights to inform product decisions. Continuously analyze game performance and player behavior to optimize engagement, retention, and monetization. Architect AI-augmented dashboards and reporting structures to track KPIs and generate actionable insights. Define and prioritize product requirements, balancing user impact, business goals, and technical constraints. Lead Agile development processes, ensuring consistent delivery and iteration toward long-term goals. Collaborate with external partners and developers to source, evaluate, and integrate third-party content. Identify and implement AI-driven efficiencies and tools to enhance the product development lifecycle, experimentation, reporting and team productivity. Stay current on trends in gaming, AI, and consumer product development to inform strategy and innovation. You Must Have 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager, with a focus on consumer-facing products. Experience building or managing casual games on web or mobile platforms. Proven track record of leading products from concept to launch and iteration. Deep understanding of game systems, player behavior, and engagement/retention mechanics. Experience with A/B testing, experimentation frameworks, and performance optimization. Experience managing external partners or third-party integrations. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Experience using AI tools (e.g., for analysis, prototyping, content generation, or development workflows) and a willingness to incorporate AI into product thinking and execution. Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, iterative environment. Strong judgment in evaluating AI-generated outputs and validating data integrity to ensure high-quality product decision-making. The material job duties and responsibilities of this role include those listed above as well as adhering to Yahoo policies ; exercising sound judgment ; working effectively, safely and inclusively with others ; exhibiting trustworthiness and meeting expectations ; and safeguarding business operations and brand integrity.
