Months Role Overview:
We are looking for a Technical Product Manager to define and drive a modern data platform that ingests data from multiple sources, ensures high data quality, and delivers near real-time insights ( 15-minute refresh) via Power BI / Microsoft Fabric dashboards. This role bridges business, data engineering, and analytics teams to deliver scalable and reliable data products.
Responsibilities:
Product Ownership & Strategy Define and own the product vision, roadmap, and end-to-end delivery for the data platform. Translate business requirements into technical specifications, user stories, and actionable development tasks. Drive adoption of modern data architecture and near real-time analytics capabilities. Align platform strategy with business objectives and stakeholder expectations. Data Platform & Integration Lead data ingestion initiatives across APIs, databases, streaming platforms, and third-party systems. Define and manage scalable data workflows using: Databricks / Spark for large-scale data processing Delta Lake for reliable and scalable data storage Snowflake for enterprise data warehousing and analytics Partner closely with engineering teams to build efficient, scalable, and high-performing data pipelines. Data Quality & Freshness Establish and enforce data validation, governance, and quality standards. Ensure data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and reliability across platforms. Define and monitor data freshness SLAs with near real-time refresh cycles (~15 minutes). Implement monitoring, alerting, and issue resolution processes to maintain platform stability. Analytics & Visualization Deliver actionable business insights through Power BI / Microsoft Fabric dashboards. Define and standardize KPIs, business metrics, and semantic models. Ensure dashboards provide timely, accurate, and business-ready insights for decision-making. Execution & Collaboration Collaborate with data engineering, BI teams, and business stakeholders across functions. Drive Agile execution including backlog management, sprint planning, UAT, and release coordination. Manage project dependencies, risks, and cross-functional alignment to ensure successful delivery.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Technical Product Manager for data and analytics platforms.
Strong expertise in:
Databricks Apache Spark Delta Lake Snowflake or similar cloud-based data warehouses Solid understanding of ETL/ELT pipelines, streaming technologies, and near real-time systems. Experience with Power BI / Microsoft Fabric or similar BI and visualization tools. Knowledge of data quality, governance, and monitoring frameworks. Experience with Azure Data Factory, Kafka, or Event Hubs. Familiarity with data modeling, SQL, and semantic layer design. Exposure to data governance and Master Data Management (MDM) frameworks.
