Job Overview:
As the VP of Product Management at LPL Financial Corp, you will lead the strategic vision, development, and execution of innovative product roadmaps that enhance financial advisors' capabilities and drive business growth. You will define product strategy, oversee the end‑to‑end product lifecycle, and ensure offerings meet market demands and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
Develop and communicate a product vision and strategy aligned with LPL Financial's business objectives and market opportunities Lead, mentor, and develop a team of product managers, establishing clear goals, accountability, and performance expectations Oversee the full product lifecycle from ideation and research through development, launch, and post‑launch optimization Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and advisor feedback reviews to identify new product opportunities and enhancements Translate business needs and user requirements into clear product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria Partner with engineering, design, sales, marketing, operations, and compliance teams to support successful product delivery and adoption Define and track key performance indicators to assess product performance and guide data‑driven decisions Manage product budgets, resources, and timelines to support efficient and high‑quality delivery Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory developments impacting financial services Serve as a subject matter expert and advocate for the product portfolio with internal and external stakeholders What Are We Looking For? Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field 10+ years of progressive product management experience, including 5+ years in a people‑leadership role Experience leading the strategy, launch, and scaling of complex software products within financial services or FinTech environments Experience navigating regulatory and compliance requirements associated with wealth management or investment platforms Experience leveraging AI‑enabled productivity and development platforms (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, Claude, Cursor, or similar generative AI tools) to support product discovery, requirements definition, and decision‑making in a regulated environment

Deep understanding of the financial advisor landscape, investment products, and wealth management platforms Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills with the ability to translate market insights into actionable product strategies Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities, with experience building and developing high‑performing product teams Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
Pay Range:
$135,960.00 - $226,600.00 Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
