The Opportunity This position works out of our Austin, TX location in the Heart Failure division. In Abbott's Heart Failure (HF) business, we're developing solutions to diagnose, monitor and manage heart failure, allowing people to restore their health and get on with their lives. As the Product Manager, US Commercial Marketing you will take a lead role in the development and strategic planning of US Commercial Marketing activities for the CardioMEMS HF System. Activities may include tactics, tools, logistics, campaigns, messaging, and positioning. You will oversee market research, monitor competitive activity, and identify customer needs. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams/groups to execute strategies and plans to implement on the commercial marketing plan. What You'll Work On Be the US product and market expert, providing in-depth knowledge of market trends and dynamics, competitive landscape, critical market success factors, and customer needs. Synthesize, prioritize and drive results with a high sense of urgency and an ability to think creatively, strategically, and quickly and to learn and act quickly. Partner with Global Marketing, Legal, Medical, and Regulatory, to ensure development and approval of compliant and effective promotional tactics Provide the sales teams with the tools, training, and resources they need to effectively drive belief in CardioMEMS, including sales collateral, training materials, and product knowledge. Support the launch of new products and innovations in the CardioMEMS product line. Ensures projects are consistent with product line strategy, and messaging is effectively conveyed. Partner with the Clinical team to execute strategic publication initiatives that support new product launch and market development initiatives. Own and manage the budget for his/her projects. Maintain tracking of a budget file and communicate updates to the team's budget owner. Manage multiple agencies seamlessly ensuring integration while inspiring agency teams to deliver outstanding Creative for Display Collaborate with Professional Education for speaker recruitment, training, and development on an ongoing basis Represent the company by visiting accounts in order to solicit feedback on company products and services. Understand project timelines and make and present recommendations based on risk analysis when project is off course. Demonstrate independence by prioritizing and completing assignments. Determine emerging trends and provide information across functional boundaries in areas of expertise. Attend national and select regional conferences to support speakers at product theaters. Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Minimum of 5 years Bachelors Degree with at least 4 years related experience 2 years in a marketing role Candidate must be an energetic, selfstarter with a positive attitude and passion for helping the customer in a Healthcare environment. Has a bias for action and proven track record of executing with excellence in a fast-paced environment. Self-motivated and Pro-active with a strong work ethic and an appreciation for a team-oriented, highly collaborative culture Agility to manage through ambiguity and changing conditions Ability to work through barriers and Regulatory constraints is a must Proven ability to identify/define business questions and issues and develop strategic, analytical and financial frameworks to conduct analysis Knowledge of all aspects of brand marketing to include positioning, branding, campaign development and channel mix Strong team player -ability to work as a key member of the global marketing team who is accountable to global strategic marketing leadership team as well as the product division and geographical marketing Strong leadership skills—ability to function as the marketing "lead" on product, marketing, commercial and pipeline development Project management skills—ability to manage complex projects and programs. Ability to pull the appropriate level, functional and geographic functions together to support initiatives. Analytical skills—ability to develop therapy and disease models, market and customer segmentation, creative, and messaging Proficient in Cloud Software; devops tools and automation software Experienced in building and managing mobile applications (iOS and Android) Extensive programming experience Preferred Qualifications Master's degree preferred.
