Job Description:
We are partnering with a leader in the gift industry seeking a Product Development Manager to support the development and execution of trend-driven product lines. This role blends creative product development with strong project management and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate has experience in home décor, gift, or consumer products and enjoys bringing assortments from concept through production while working closely with design, sourcing, sales, and overseas vendor partners. This role is in office, based in Arlington, TX. What You Will Do Manage assigned product categories and vendor relationships from concept through final production Partner with design and sourcing teams to develop trend-driven seasonal décor assortments Collaborate with overseas factories to refine samples, materials, finishes, and product details Oversee development timelines to ensure products are ready for reviews, showrooms, and launches Track product samples, purchase orders, quotes, and development status within NetSuite and PLM systems Analyze sales trends and historical performance to support assortment planning and product decisions Maintain accurate product data and development documentation across multiple projects Present product updates and development progress to internal teams and stakeholders Qualifications 5+ years of experience in product development, merchandising, or consumer products Background in seasonal décor, home goods, gift, or lifestyle products preferred Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required; NetSuite and PLM experience preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills across internal teams and overseas vendors Eye for design, product detail, and commercial viability
