Job Description
Purpose of Position:
Product Manager will lead the planning, development, and improvement of products that meet customer needs and business goals. This role works across all departments in a matrix structure to define priorities, guide execution, support product launches, and manage the product life cycle. The manager must be comfortable wearing multiple hats, analyzing data, making decisions, and effectively communicating information. Candidates must be ok working in a small environment that requires a high level of output and self-management. This role is 100% on site in Fort Worth, TX.Essential Job Functions:
- Develop 1-year and 3-year product strategy by channel
- Identify market trends and opportunities
- Define product goals, quality requirements, and roadmaps
- Work with engineering, design, marketing, production, and stakeholders to deliver products
- Develop BOM's with costing
- Review engineering drawings to control cost and maintain standards
- Find and evaluate vendors and establish quality metrics
- Analyze customer feedback, data, and market trends to guide decisions
- Monitor product performance and recommend improvements
- Working with key stakeholders, complete annual forecasts detailing expected volumes, revenue, and margins/profits for each product line
- Assist with OEM relations and projects
- Maintain stock levels based on demand
- Attend industry and related trade shows
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Meet or exceed productivity metrics / goals assigned.
- Follow all safety processes and practices.
- Perform all duties in accordance with all established quality and safety procedures/work instructions.
- Performs all other duties needed or required to support the growth of company sales and profits.

Skills & Qualifications:
- 3+ years in the firearms industry.
- Have experience building and inventing (non-industry specific is acceptable)
- Poses strong analytical skills and remember key details
- Possess strong critical thinking skills with no reliance on AI
- Possess a doer mentality and have excellent time management skills
- Actively shoot guns outside of work and showcase exemplary safety standards
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- A customer focused attitude
- Per Federal Law and due to XS being a manufacturing facility in the firearms industry, all XS employees are required to legally be to own a firearm, possess a firearm, or purchase a firearm
- Ability to work with minimal supervision while maintaining all required work tasks and keeping management appraised of company metrics and goals
