Product Manager Senior - Payments

RESPONSIBILITIES

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Product Manager Senior - Payments. This role is 5 days a week onsite in Irving, TX.

Summary:

The Senior Product Manager - Payments will help lead our payments team to stay on top of industry changes and regulations across a complex footprint of indoor and outdoor payment devices and multiple payment processors.

Responsibilities:

• Drive and manage the EMV device certification roadmap
• Understand and prioritize new requirements from card brands and payment processors
• Act as a subject matter expert on payment requirements
• Lead cross functional device and payment teams to meeting payment requirements
• Act as the product owner for one of the payment scrum teams
• Design and develop enterprise grade backend systems using Java/J2EE (Spring, Spring Boot, RESTful services)
• Build and maintain full stack applications, integrating backend services with modern frontend consumers
• Architect and implement AI augmented and Agentic AI systems
• Develop and evaluate NLP and GenAI solutions, including prompt engineering and model orchestration
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, analysts, and engineering peers to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Apply software engineering guidelines, including clean architecture, design patterns, unit testing, and code reviews
• Lead or strongly influence technical decisions in a high risk, high uncertainty environment
• Ensure solutions meet compliance, governance, security, and quality standards
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, observability, and production readiness of AI enabled applications

REQUIREMENTS

• Looking for specific experience with payment integrations for card present environments (e.g., Point of Sales (POS) to payment processor/gift card processor, etc.
• Road mapping and prioritization skills
• Agile product owner experience
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred:

• CSPO certification preferred
• Bonus if candidate has experience with retail fuel The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role.

We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
