This role sits at the intersection of operations and IT — translating field and business needs into software that drives the ESP business, while expanding to support other product lines as those needs grow. You will be the single point of accountability for ESP's technology portfolio: gathering requirements from operations, directing external development partners, owning integrations with our core systems, and standing behind the software once it is live.
Reporting Structure Hard Line:
VP of Information Technology Dotted Line:
ESP Product Line Manager You will take day-to-day direction from the ESP Product Line Manager while remaining a member of the IT organization. This dual-reporting model is intentional — it keeps you close to the business while preserving IT standards, security, and architectural alignment. What You Will Do ESP Product Line Software (Primary Focus — ~60-75% of Role) Partner with ESP operations leaders to elicit, document, and prioritize functional requirements. Translate business needs into clear specifications and direct external development partners through the build. Own delivery of a custom software platform that will enable operations to: Quote new jobs Record job installations in the field Capture equipment inspection results Manage customer-owned inventory Ensure seamless integration with SyteLine ERP and Field FX (Salesforce) field ticketing. Lead the implementation, rollout, and user adoption of the new platform. Provide ongoing application support, enhancements, and lifecycle management after go-live. Cross-Product-Line Support (~25-40% of Role, Post-Implementation) Bring the same playbook to other Liberty Lift product lines and divisions — gas lift, jet pump, service divisions, automation, and others — helping them identify efficiency opportunities and stand up the right tools. Contribute to Liberty Lift's data and AI initiatives by helping ingest operational data into our Microsoft Fabric environment and preparing it for downstream analytics and AI/ML use cases. Act as a connector across product lines, surfacing common patterns and reusable solutions. What We Are Looking For Required 8-12 years of progressive experience in IT business analysis, business systems, or applied software delivery roles. Demonstrated track record of eliciting requirements from non-technical business users and translating them into working software. Hands-on experience managing external development vendors — scoping work, reviewing deliverables, and holding partners accountable to quality and timelines. Experience integrating custom or third-party applications with ERP systems (SyteLine / Infor experience strongly preferred). Working experience with Salesforce and/or Field FX or comparable field service / ticketing platforms. Strong project ownership — comfortable leading implementations end-to-end, from kickoff through stabilization. Excellent communication skills; able to move fluently between a field operations conversation and an architecture review. Strongly Preferred Prior experience in oilfield services, artificial lift, completions, or a related upstream segment. Familiarity with quoting, dispatch, inspection, or asset management workflows in an industrial / field-services context. Strong Plus (Willing to Develop) Exposure to Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Services, or modern data engineering platforms. Experience preparing data for AI/ML use cases. Relevant certifications such as CBAP, PMP, Salesforce Administrator, or Microsoft data/AI credentials. Education Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered. What Success Looks Like:
First 6 Months:
Built deep working relationships with ESP operations leaders, finalized requirements, and selected and aligned external development partners. 6-18 Months:
Custom ESP software delivered, integrated with SyteLine and Field FX, and successfully rolled out to operations. 18+ Months:
