Job Description

Experteer Overview As Product Management Manager at USAA, you will shape product strategy and profitability across the product lifecycle for financial products, with emphasis on HELOC. You will analyze data, market trends, and performance to inform decisions and collaborate with cross-functional teams. You will ensure regulatory compliance and coordinate with partners, driving launch of new products and enhancements via Agile practices. This role supports serving the military community and military spouses, with flexible work options.
Compensation / Benefits
  • Gather analytics, competitive intelligence, and member data to inform product strategy
  • Contribute to development of product strategy recommendations
  • Propose launch plans for new products or sales approaches and evaluate build/buy/partner options
  • Serve as product SME on features and collaborate with partners for recommendations
  • Educate and align sales channels on products and new enhancements using Agile methodologies
  • Identify and evaluate potential alliance providers
  • Create and refine product communications
  • Research external market trends, financials, and member data for products
  • Coordinate with Legal, Compliance, and Risk to ensure compliant product offerings
  • Interpret performance results to inform forecasts and planning
  • Monitor and control risks per risk and compliance policies Tasks
  • Bachelor's degree or 4 years of related experience in lieu of degree
  • 6 years of relevant industry experience in Actuary, Underwriting, Marketing or Sales/Service or Finance/Accounting Operations or Financial Services
  • 2 years of product management or similar strategic management experience
  • 1 year of Data Visualization experience (Tableau)
  • Advanced experience in creating product briefings
  • Experience in market research to shape product roadmap and decisions
