What You'll Do Lead go-to-market strategy for a new cementitious product platform, including positioning and target applications.
Define customer value proposition and develop pricing and margin strategy with executive leadership.
Identify and advance high-value early adopter markets and pilot project opportunities.
Provide technical and strategic input for product development, innovation, and long-term roadmap planning.
Drive product specification with municipalities, DOTs, and consulting engineering firms.
Deliver technical education through Lunch & Learns, PDH seminars, webinars, and conference presentations.
Develop and present technical materials such as white papers, datasheets, EPDs, and case studies.
Support engineering and customer teams with design guidance, performance modeling, and durability assessments.
Represent the company within industry organizations and standards committees (e.g., ACI, ASTM, AASHTO).
Monitor regulatory, sustainability, and carbon reporting trends impacting product adoption.
Serve as the internal technical authority and subject matter expert for the product line.
Collaborate with sales, operations, QA/QC, and supply partners on training, manufacturing scalability, quality, and materials innovation.
What You'll Need Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in cementitious materials, precast concrete, or civil infrastructure markets required.
Experience working directly with municipalities, DOTs, and/or consulting engineers required.
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
Experience with alkaline-activated materials, geopolymers, blended cements, low-carbon concrete systems, or specialty cementitious products preferred.
Experience launching or commercializing a new product line preferred.
Knowledge of Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) and sustainability reporting frameworks preferred.
Existing relationships with key municipalities, DOTs, or engineering firms preferred.
Deep technical expertise in cementitious materials, concrete performance, and durability behavior.
Strong understanding of cement chemistry and durability mechanisms, including MIC corrosion, sulfate attack, and permeability.
Working knowledge of applicable industry standards and specifications (ASTM, ACI, AASHTO).
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, persuasive, market-facing messaging.
Strong public speaking, presentation, and technical writing capabilities.
Ability to influence specifications, technical decisions, and product adoption.
Proven effectiveness in cross-functional collaboration and technical leadership.
Your Education Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, materials science, structural engineering, or a related field required; equivalent professional experience considered.
