AS A STAFF PRODUCT MANAGER, YOU WILL
:Drive AI-Native Validation:
Lead the transformation of our testing suites by integrating AI to generate test cases, identify regression risks, and optimize test selection, significantly accelerating the time-to-impact.Redefine Developer Workflow:
Build an AI-forward developer experience that removes friction from the "inner loop" of development, ensuring engineers can validate and iterate on their ideas in seconds, not hours. Architect theTest Pyramid:
Define the vision and roadmap for how Snowflake validates the product. You will shape the strategy across unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, moving the organization toward an optimized, AI-assisted validation model. Manage aStrategic Portfolio:
Oversee a diverse set of developer-facing capabilities including development environments, local testing tools, and programmatic interfaces (APIs/SDKs) that engineers rely on daily.Partner Across Engineering:
Work closely with our CI/CD PM and engineering leadership to ensure a seamless handoff between the developer's local environment and our global deployment pipelines.Drive Technical Strategy:
Collaborate with engineering and data science to make high-stakes decisions about architecture and protocol standards, ensuring our internal platform scales with Snowflake's growth.OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE
8+ years of Product Management experience , with a proven track record of shipping developer-facing tools or technical infrastructure.Deep Technical Fluency:
A strong background in the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), with specific expertise in testing strategies and automated validation at scale.Platform-First Mindset:
Experience building platform products that serve other engineers; you understand how to treat internal users as high-value customers.AI-Native Thinking:
An innate curiosity and proven ability to treat AI as a collaborator to solve complex engineering bottlenecks.Strategic Execution:
The ability to take broad, complex problem spaces—like "optimizing the test pyramid for a distributed system"—and decompose them into actionable, multi-quarter roadmaps.Data-Driven Decision Making:
Highly analytical mindset, knowing how to use metrics (e.g., test flakiness, build duration, developer sentiment) to prioritize the backlog effectively.BONUS POINTS FOR
Previous hand-on experience as a software engineer. Experience building or managing internal developer platforms in a high-growth cloud environment.
