Job Description
Description Amazon Leo is Amazon's low Earth orbit satellite network. Our mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet connectivity to customers beyond the reach of existing networks. From individual households to schools, hospitals, businesses, and government agencies, Amazon Leo will serve people and organizations operating in locations without reliable connectivity. As a Senior Product Manager for Embedded Software on the Connectivity Product Management team, you will help create and drive the product strategy, vision, and roadmap of Leo antenna products and services, with a high degree of ownership over critical features and the customer experience. This role is inherently cross-functional
- you will work closely with engineering, operations, finance, business development, and executive teams to define, develop, and launch innovative products and services. As an Embedded Software PMT, you will own end-to-end responsibility for delivering software for multiple antennas that serve B2C, B2B, B2B2X, and B2G users across diverse industries and use cases. Key job responsibilities
- Design APIs/telemetry systems to support devices used by enterprises, mobility providers, and individual consumers.
- Manage device provisioning, over-the-air (OTA) updates, and fleet-scale monitoring for varied customer segments.
- Define and drive performance standards, RF/PHY reliability, interoperability for devices deployed in industries ranging from enterprise to consumer.
- Coordinate firmware/hardware releases across multiple hardware systems used by B2B, B2C, and government customers. 3. Customer-Facing UX
- Translate technical capabilities into intuitive workflows for business users (B2B/B2B2X) and individual consumers (B2C).
- Partner with UX/UI designers to validate experiences for all customer personas. A day in the life
- Balance technical execution with alignment across engineering, hardware, and operations teams.
- Shape roadmap priorities, mitigate delivery risks, and advise business deals/beta programs for all customer personas.
- Ensure on-time releases and post-launch stability for solutions serving B2C, B2B, B2B2X, and B2G customers. Basic Qualifications
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
- Deep understanding of components, protocols, and interactions across all OSI model layers (Physical to Application), including packet formation, error checking, routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP), transport mechanisms (TCP/UDP), and application-layer services (HTTP, MQTT).
