As an SEO Specialist, you'll be trained to work directly with our clients to help grow their businesses through effective digital marketing. The ideal candidate is someone who possesses integrity, passion, and the aptitude to rapidly develop their digital marketing skills via on-the-job training. About the Role As an SEO Specialist at WebMO, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between creative website design and high-performance organic search visibility. You will design, implement, and maintain strategies that ensure client projects adhere to high technical standards while maximizing search engine performance and conversion efficiency. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, technical execution, and analytical prowess to drive measurable results across diverse industries, including healthcare and behavioral health.
What You'll Do Technical SEO:
Conduct advanced site audits to identify and address issues using tools like Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, and SEMrush. Manage site architecture, schema markup, and Core Web Vitals to optimize website performance. Local
SEO & GBP
Management:
Organize and optimize Google Business Profiles (GBP) for multi-location clients. Implement strategies to boost visibility in local search and manage online reputation, using modern citation and search grid tools.
On-Page Optimization:
Execute comprehensive on-page tactics, including keyword h tag and body copy usage, internal/external linking, and title tag/meta description management. Develop and optimize content silos and cohesive sitemaps.
Off-Page Strategy:
Develop and execute link-building strategies, including backlink analysis and securing niche-relevant guest post placements.
Analytics & Reporting:
Utilize GA4, GSC, GBP, and Google Tag Manager (GTM) to set up complex conversion tracking and provide detailed performance reports. Interpret metrics to guide campaign improvements and ROI-focused decisions. Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO): Conduct analyses and A/B testing on landing pages to improve user experience (UX) and conversion rates.
Client Collaboration:
Work with Account Managers to align technical solutions with client business goals and branding.
Technical Requirements:
Experience:
Preferred 2+ years of experience in web design, front-end development, and technical SEO.
Platform Expertise:
Deep experience with WordPress, including Gutenberg, Elementor, ACF, and custom theme modifications.
Analytical Tools:
Advanced knowledge of GA4, Google Tag Manager, and SEO tools like SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Moz, Ahrefs, or Yoast.
Web Foundations:
Strong proficiency in
HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Professional Competencies Detail-Oriented:
A commitment to precision in both code efficiency and design execution.
Problem-Solver:
Natural aptitude for troubleshooting complex technical web issues and how they might affect SEO, from DNS records to hosting migrations.
Communicator:
Ability to explain technical SEO and development concepts clearly to internal teams and clients.
