This role carries direct responsibility for revenue growth, customer acquisition, and overall marketing performance. The successful candidate will operate with a CEO-level mindset within the marketing department, providing leadership, direction, and accountability across all marketing initiatives. This individual will be expected to assess current performance, define a clear growth strategy, and execute initiatives that drive measurable improvements in sales, conversion rates, and brand visibility. This position requires a senior-level professional who is comfortable owning outcomes, making data-driven decisions, and partnering closely with executive leadership to influence company growth. Responsibilities Executive Marketing Leadership & Revenue Accountability Own the marketing function with end-to-end responsibility for performance and results Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with company revenue and growth objectives Serve as the primary advisor to executive leadership on marketing performance, opportunities, and risks Translate business goals into actionable marketing initiatives that directly impact sales SEO & Digital Growth Strategy Lead all SEO initiatives, including technical SEO, on-page optimization, content strategy, and link-building Conduct ongoing competitive analysis and market research to identify growth opportunities Improve organic visibility, qualified traffic, and conversion performance Ensure all digital initiatives support both short-term revenue and long-term brand equity Sales Growth & Conversion Optimization Drive measurable improvements in eCommerce sales and customer acquisition Analyze sales funnels, product performance, and customer behavior Optimize website experience, product pages, and checkout flow Implement and manage CRO initiatives, A/B testing, and performance optimization Paid Media & Campaign Oversight Oversee paid advertising strategies across compliant platforms Monitor budgets, performance metrics, and return on ad spend (ROAS) Ensure paid media efforts are efficient, scalable, and aligned with revenue goals Identify underperforming initiatives and reallocate resources accordingly Content, Brand & Customer Engagement Establish and oversee content strategy across web, email, and promotional channels Ensure consistent brand positioning and messaging Align content initiatives with SEO, conversion, and sales objectives Support customer retention and lifecycle marketing initiatives Analytics, Reporting & Decision-Making Define KPIs tied to revenue, traffic, conversion, and customer growth Deliver executive-level reporting with clear insights and recommendations Provide transparency into what is performing, what is not, and why Use data to guide strategic decisions and continuous improvement Skills/Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience) 5+ years of progressive experience in SEO and digital marketing leadership Proven track record of driving revenue growth in an eCommerce environment Strong understanding of SEO, paid media, analytics, and conversion optimization Experience operating with autonomy and accountability at a senior level Ability to communicate performance and strategy clearly to executive stakeholders Preferred Experience leading or managing marketing teams or external agencies Strong familiarity with growth marketing and performance-based strategies
