SEO Specialist

- $50 /hr Posted May 12, 2026 Our client in the hospitality space is seeking a SEO Specialist to join their team!
This is a hybrid onsite role, 3 days/week in office in La Jolla, 40 hours/week, ongoing. MUST have prior SEO experience in the hospitality space to be considered. The SEO Specialist will lead the optimization and AI-readiness of multiple hospitality websites. This role will focus on improving search performance, implementing schema markup, and enhancing booking-driven experiences in collaboration with developers and marketing teams.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct SEO audits and establish performance benchmarks (pre/post optimization)
- Optimize websites for search engines and AI/LLM discoverability
- Implement and manage structured data (schema markup) to drive visibility and bookings
- Partner cross-functionally with developers and digital marketing leaders
- Improve site architecture, on-page SEO, and conversion pathways (especially reservations)
- Analyze performance insights and continuously refine SEO strategy
- Execute hands-on SEO improvements across multiple sites
Requirements:
- 5+ years of hands-on SEO experience with proven results
- Deep expertise in schema markup and technical SEO
- Experience optimizing sites for AI-readiness and emerging search trends
- Strong analytical skills with ability to benchmark and measure impact
- Comfortable working in hybrid environments and cross-functional teams
- Hospitality (hotel/restaurant) experience strongly preferred
- Ability to both strategize and execute In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data.
This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
