Job Summary The Sr. SEO Technologist owns the technical health, content optimization, and search performance of all AMN Healthcare web properties. This role executes on-page and technical SEO, creates and optimizes content within Optimizely (Episerver) CMS, and monitors AMN's visibility across traditional search engines and AI-powered answer engines (Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity). You'll serve as the team's search subject matter expert, partnering with Brand, OMNI, Product Marketing, and Development to ensure AMN's content is discoverable, citable, and converting. Job Responsibilities Technical SEO & Site Optimization Execute technical SEO across all web properties — crawlability, indexation, site architecture, schema markup, Core Web Vitals, and page speed Deploy and validate structured data (JobPosting, FAQ, Organization, Breadcrumb) for traditional and AI-powered search visibility Conduct regular site audits and manage internal linking, redirect chains, and crawl budget efficiency Web Content Creation & CMS Management Create, publish, and optimize web pages, landing pages, blogs, and campaign pages in Optimizely (Episerver) CMS Develop content strategies aligned to keyword gap analyses, user intent, and business objectives across all AMN divisions Build SEO content briefs for writers and brand teams Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) & AI Search Monitoring Monitor AMN's citation share and content visibility across AI search platforms (AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity) Track AI-driven traffic sources and referral patterns to measure brand authority beyond traditional SERPs Implement entity optimization and citation-ready content structures for AI discoverability Analytics & Conversion Optimization Analyze organic performance using GA4, Google Search Console, BrightEdge, and SEMrush — reporting on traffic, rankings, and conversions to key stakeholders Monitor conversion funnel clickstream, identify drop-off points, and recommend optimizations Conduct keyword research, competitive share of voice analysis, and quarterly gap analyses Support A/B testing and personalization experiments using Optimizely Required Skills 2+ years of experience in SEO, digital marketing, or web content management Hands-on experience with Optimizely (Episerver) CMS Strong technical SEO knowledge — schema markup, Core Web Vitals, site architecture, structured data Proficiency with GA4, Google Search Console, BrightEdge, and SEMrush Experience creating and optimizing web content at scale Ability to write marketing requirement documents and content briefs Excellent communication skills — comfortable training non-technical teams on CMS and SEO best practices Qualifications Education & Years of Experience Bachelor's Degree plus 2-4 years of work experience OR High School Diploma/GED plus 5-7 years of work experience Additional Experience Experience managing a brand(s) Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategy Relevant work experience in a technical training capacity Experience developing and implementing content strategies with confirmed results Work Environment / Physical Requirements Work is performed in an office/home office environment.
