We are seeking an SEO Manager | Player/Coach Leader to lead organic search initiatives across a portfolio of client accounts. This is a hands-on, "in the weeds" leadership role for someone who combines deep SEO expertise, agency experience, analytics, content strategy, and team leadership to drive organic performance and client growth. This opportunity offers a collaborative, high-accountability agency environment & cross-functional teams spanning strategy, creative, content, analytics, development, UX, paid media, and digital execution. What You'll Do Lead planning, execution, and ongoing optimization of SEO strategies across multiple brands and websites Drive organic search initiatives tO improve visibility, rankings, traffic quality, and on-site engagement Partner w/ internal teams across content, UX, paid media, development, and account services to align SEO with broader marketing goals Identify opportunities W/ technical audits, keyword research, competitor analysis, site reviews, and performance reporting Translate search data into actionable insights that improve site architecture, content effectiveness, UX Establish benchmarks, track KPIs, and prioritize initiatives based on business impact Help develop SEO standards, processes, and training Evaluate tools, platforms, and emerging capabilities to improve workflow efficiency and search outcomes Client-facing strategy discussions, presentations, and business development efforts Mentor junior team members Must-Have Tools / Skills Screaming Frog; SEMRush; WordPress; Google Suite; GA4 / Google Analytics; PageSpeed Insights; Strong technical and on-page SEO expertise, including: fixing broken links / 404s ; handling redirect chains ; removing duplicate content; addressing missing or duplicate title tags and meta descriptions; creating page titles, headers (H1/H2), and metadata optimizing word count and content structure; XML sitemap generation
