As an SEO Director, you'll play a pivotal role in scaling our global reach by driving organic performance analysis, reporting, and opportunity identification across Indeed - one of the largest and highest-traffic websites in the world. This role is built for a data-driven SEO professional who possesses exceptional technical judgment and thrives when working with massive datasets and ambiguous problem statements. You won't just identify trends; you'll dive deep into the data to diagnose anomalies, size new opportunities, and build agentic & automated reporting systems. You will translate complex technical SEO insights into clear and actionable requirements, partnering directly with Product Managers and Engineers to ship high-impact improvements. Responsibilities + Performance monitoring & diagnostics: Continuously monitor Indeed's organic search health. Diagnose complex shifts in rankings, traffic, crawl behavior, indexation, CTR , and downstream funnel conversions. + Granular data analysis: Analyze SEO performance comprehensively across a variety of dimensions, including page type, market, device, query class, and landing pages. + Technical optimization: Propose and document precise technical fixes for crawl waste, canonicalization, noindexing, internal linking structures, metadata, and schema.org markup. + Opportunity identification: Proactively identify, size, and build business cases for new content initiatives, metadata enhancements, internal linking optimizations, and advanced schema implementation. + Reporting & automation: Own, refine, and present weekly team performance reporting. Pioneer and manage agentic and automated SEO reporting workflows leveraging AI tooling and APIs. + Documentation and collaboration: Draft clear Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) and collaborate productively in SEO and cross-team stand-ups to partner with PMs and engineers to ship SEO improvements. + Impact tracking: Establish measurement frameworks to track launched changes and conduct rigorous post-launch To view full details and how to apply, please login or create a Job Seeker account
