This position requires at least 2-3 years of professional work experience and offers an opportunity for growth into other roles as natural progressions. You will work with an experienced team of digital marketers, video content producers, and management.

Our Copywriter and SEO Strategist owns the content strategy and on-page SEO that drives organic growth across client websites and owned channels. This role blends editorial excellence (voice, story, UX copy) with search strategy (keywords, intent, metadata, internal linking, editorial calendars) and AI-accelerated production. This role must possess excellent writing skills for creating content across multiple platforms . Partners closely with the Technical SEO Specialist (who owns site health/CWV/schema/robots), the Digital Brand & Design Specialist, Social SEO Manager, and Video Content Creation. What You'll Do on our Team Write and edit high-quality copy for websites, remarketing landing pages, CTAs, and blogs — manually + with Claude/ChatGPT (human-in-the-loop). Build AI-ready briefs (audience, angle, SERP features, FAQs, internal links, references). On-page SEO:
titles/H1-H3, meta descriptions, image alt, internal links, URL slugs, Yoast/WriteSonic optimization; request schema updates via Technical SEO Specialist. Maintain brand, tone, and accessibility (plain language, headings, alt text) and quality control across deliverables. Conduct competitor and SERP analyses (manual + WriteSonic) to identify content gaps and opportunities with our content team. Monitor rankings, CTR, content engagement, and backlinks with the Technical SEO Specialist (Semrush, GSC); translate findings into next-step tests. Review results and discuss wins, losses, hypotheses, and next actions. Build prompt libraries (posts, pages, metas, FAQs) and agentic workflows for drafting, variant creation, and internal linking suggestions. Use AI for keyword clustering, outline generation, meta rewrites, summarization, and QA; maintain human review standards on all content. What You'll Bring to our Team Work in our Indianapolis, IN office at 96th St & I-69 - this is not remote or hybrid Four-year degree, BA preferred, related to the marketing industry 2-5+ years of full-time industry experience in content strategy/copywriting with proven SEO impact. Proficiency with Semrush/Ahrefs, GSC/GA4, Yoast, WriteSonic, ClickUp (or similar project management database). Strong interest and adaptation to AI tools, such as Claude, ChatGPT, to aid in the prompts, content writing, and workflows. Understands SEO fundamentals (search intent, SERP anatomy, on-page best practices, internal linking) and how to collaborate with Technical SEO - good SEO writing is important! Proficient with WordPress, Unbounce (or other landing page platforms). Proficient with Canva and Microsoft Office Products.
