Job Description

Amazon Marketplace Associate About the Role We're looking for an Amazon Marketplace Associate to own our entire Amazon presence end to end. You'll be the single point of accountability for ad spend, listing quality, keyword strategy, and overall account performance — making the calls that drive sales, protect margin, and keep our brand competitive on the platform. This is a hands-on, ownership-driven role for someone who knows Seller/Vendor Central inside and out and is comfortable being judged on the numbers. Key Responsibilities Own and manage the full Amazon advertising budget, including Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display campaigns — building, launching, and continuously optimizing for ACOS/TACOS, ROAS, and overall profitability. Conduct ongoing keyword research and search term analysis to inform both PPC targeting and organic listing strategy, identifying new opportunities and cutting underperforming spend. Write, optimize, and maintain product listings (titles, bullet points, descriptions, backend search terms, A+ Content) to maximize conversion rate and organic ranking. Monitor and manage account health, including Buy Box ownership, inventory performance, suppressed listings, policy compliance, and case log resolution. Track and report on key performance metrics (sales, conversion rate, sessions, ad spend, ACOS/TACOS, inventory turns) on a regular cadence, with clear recommendations for improvement. Manage inventory planning and forecasting in coordination with supply chain/operations to avoid stockouts and excess storage fees. Monitor competitor activity, pricing, and category trends, adjusting strategy proactively rather than reactively. Run and analyze A/B tests on creative, pricing, and listing content to drive continuous improvement. Coordinate with design/content teams on imagery, video, and A+ Content needed to support listings. Stay current on Amazon policy changes, new ad products, and platform features, and recommend when to adopt them. Required Qualifications 2+ years of hands-on experience managing an Amazon Seller Central or Vendor Central account, including direct ownership of ad spend. Proven track record managing Amazon PPC campaigns with demonstrable improvements in ACOS/TACOS or ROAS. Strong working knowledge of Amazon SEO and keyword research methodology. Experience with Amazon Brand Registry, A+ Content, and Storefront management. Comfortable working with data — pulling reports, building simple dashboards, and translating numbers into action. Excellent written communication skills (this role involves a lot of listing copy and case log communication). Highly organized and able to manage multiple SKUs/campaigns simultaneously without things slipping through the cracks. Preferred Qualifications Experience with third-party tools such as Helium 10, Jungle Scout, Data Dive, or similar. Familiarity with Amazon DSP, Amazon Attribution, or external traffic strategies. Experience in [your industry/category, e.g., CPG, beauty, home goods]. Basic familiarity with Excel/Google Sheets formulas (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) for reporting. What Success Looks Like Ad spend is consistently optimized toward target
ACOS/TACOS
without sacrificing growth. Listings rank well organically and convert at or above category benchmarks. Account health stays in good standing with minimal suppressed listings or unresolved cases. Leadership has clear, regular visibility into channel performance and what's driving it.
