Create & execute content briefs according to the editorial calendar & content strategy. Ensures that briefs include all of the info a writer needs to create useful content that is well optimized for discoverability in search engines and LLMs. Support the development and execution of AI search optimization (GEO) initiatives, including research into how brand and product entities surface across LLM-powered search experiences (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, etc.). Report on traffic gains & losses following established pass/fail criteria and provide actionable takeaways from the analysis. Setup and launch initiatives for content, SEO, and CRO with the guidance and oversight of the Director, Discoverability. Work closely with other Performance Marketing team members on integrated reporting that aligns with paid search, website analytics, or paid social. Assist with new website builds by supporting sitemap and content strategy executions. Helps with initial strategy as well as quality assurance checks for site launches. Be comfortable interfacing with clients, explaining strategic decisions, and answering questions on-the-fly. Over time, develop the ability to identify strategic opportunities on assigned accounts and bring recommendations to senior leadership. Create written content on occasion, if required. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure marketing strategies are effective and competitive. If you're right for the role, you will… Have 1-2 years experience in an ad agency, marketing role, or related internship. Have a strong desire for analyzing systems and creating testing plans. Be able to assist with planning, implementation, and reporting for organic search, email, and other owned media initiatives. Feel comfortable working with AI tools (Claude, Gemini, etc.), excited about implementing automations into workflows, and open to continuously learning new ways that work can be improved. Be excellent at time management. Be a strong communicator with excellent attention to detail. Comfortable switch tasks, clients, and focus multiple times in a single day.
