The Role:

We're hiring an SEO Manager to take full ownership of search performance across a portfolio of client accounts. This isn't a role where you execute a checklist someone else built. You build the strategy, lead the execution, manage the process, and deliver results you can defend in a client meeting. You'll oversee the full SEO lifecycle, technical audits, on-page optimization, content strategy, local SEO, and off-page authority building. You'll also be responsible for the people and processes that make it all run. That means mentoring specialists, maintaining quality standards, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks across a growing client base. What You'll Own:

SEO strategy development and execution across a portfolio of client accounts in Home Services and Legal/Medical Technical SEO audits using Screaming Frog and implementation of solutions covering site speed, crawlability, indexation, structured data, and broken links Keyword research and competitive analysis to identify target keywords, low-competition opportunities, buyer-intent terms, and quick wins for each client On-page content strategy, including service pages, location pages, and blog content built to rank and convert Local SEO and Google Business Profile optimization to drive location-based traffic and leads Internal linking strategy across client sites to build cohesion, authority flow, and better user experience Performance reporting using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Ahrefs — not just pulling numbers, but telling the story behind them and adjusting strategy accordingly Management and mentorship of SEO Specialists on the team, including workflow oversight, quality control, and professional development Cross-department collaboration with Web Design, PPC, and Content teams to ensure SEO is integrated at every level Process development and documentation so the team operates efficiently and consistently as we scale Client communication and presentations — clear, honest, and built to build trust

What We're Looking For:

4-7+ years of SEO experience, with at least 1-2 years in a lead or management capacity A portfolio of real results. Show us rankings you moved, traffic you grew, and leads you drove — not just strategies you wrote Deep expertise in technical SEO, on-page optimization, local SEO, and content strategy Strong command of Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, and Ahrefs. You can build a report, read it, and act on it Proficiency in WordPress, including Gutenberg, Elementor, and Divi, and common SEO plugins like Yoast, RankMath, or SEOPress Experience managing or mentoring other SEO professionals. You know how to hold a standard without micromanaging. Strong written communication skills. You can write a brief, review content, and present strategy to a client Background in Home Services and/or Legal/Medical is a strong plus Familiarity with PPC concepts is a plus. We're a full-service shop and cross-channel thinking matters here
