The Senior Search Specialist leads a Paid Search activation team as part of the larger T-Mobile Paid Search team, ensuring campaigns are strategically aligned with broader media plans. This role serves as the central liaison among internal teams, external partners, and business unit collaborators, driving performance, innovation, and process improvements. The Senior Search Specialist is responsible for developing paid search strategies, leading execution, and ensuring operational excellence. They play a key leadership role in activating campaigns, optimizing performance, and advancing paid search capabilities through teamwork and testing. This is a hybrid position required to be in-office at least 3 days a week in T-Mobile's headquarters in Bellevue, WA.Job Responsibilities:
Paid Search Strategy & Activation Develop and lead all aspects of activation strategy across paid search platforms (Google Ads, Bing Ads, etc.) aligned with integrated media and business goals. Define campaign taxonomy, bidding strategies, and budget allocations. Serve as the escalation point and lead activator for high-priority buys or cross-functional needs. Performance Optimization & Innovation Lead performance analysis of in-market campaigns including keyword, ad copy, and competitive analysis. Identify optimization opportunities and implement test-and-learn initiatives including machine learning features and betas. Collaborate on future-forward innovation, feature adoption, and out-of-the-box ideas. Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration Act as the primary point of contact with business units, Integrated Marketing, and Media Communications Planning. Ensure collaborator goals are incorporated in campaign execution, including reporting and performance storytelling. Communicate campaign progress, roadblocks, and results clearly across internal and external teams. Team Leadership & Operational Excellence Lead and mentor a team of Search Specialists; manage capacity and resourcing through Workfront and team planning. Drive consistent processes, ensuring campaign health, timely execution, and high operational standards. Support process development for optimization workflows, reporting, and campaign management. Project & Testing Management Manage and track strategic testing plans across programs to fuel ongoing learning and efficiency. Collaborate cross-functionally on smaller campaigns, pilots, and team-wide initiatives. Partner with external and internal collaborators to share best practices and results.Education and Work Experience:
Bachelor's Degree (Required)- At least 5+ years of paid search experience
- Understanding of SEO an asset
- Telecom experience an asset
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Problem Solving, validated critical thinking and problem-solving skills (Required) Search Engine Marketing (SEM) Excellent understanding of account set up and optimization on search engine and platform (Required) Search Engine Marketing (SEM) Excellent knowledge of search planning fundamentals e.g., reach, frequency, channels, formats, etc. (Required) Communication Excellent interpersonal skills (Required)Licenses and Certifications:

$77,000- $138,800
Corporate Bonus Target:
15% The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range. At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee's eligible earnings in the prior year.
