Job Description

SEO/AEO SpecialistOnsite | Austin, TX | Contract-to-HireWe are seeking an SEO/AEO Specialist to drive organic growth and optimize digital content for both traditional search engines and emerging AI-driven answer platforms. This role will focus on improving search visibility, increasing qualified traffic, and ensuring content is structured to perform across Google, voice search, and AI-powered search experiences.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute SEO strategies across on-page, technical, and content optimizationOptimize content for AEO (Answer Engine Optimization), including featured snippets, voice search, and AI-generated search resultsConduct keyword research and intent analysis to inform content strategy and prioritizationCollaborate with content, marketing, and development teams to implement SEO best practicesPerform technical SEO audits (site structure, indexing, page speed, schema markup) and recommend fixesMonitor rankings, traffic, and engagement metrics, and provide actionable insightsOptimize existing content for improved visibility, conversions, and SERP features (rich results, FAQs, snippets)Stay current on search algorithm changes, AI search trends, and evolving best practices
