Social Media Assistant (Content Production)

About Us Daily Original Vids is a fast-growing social media company run by a husband-and-wife team with over 10 million followers and more than 1 billion monthly views across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube. We create viral short-form content focused on home hacks, DIY, parenting, and everyday life tips that reach audiences around the world. About the Role We're looking for a highly organized, proactive Social Media Assistant to help support our fast-paced content production business. Our videos are viewed by millions every day, and we need someone dependable behind the scenes to help keep production, posting, and daily operations running smoothly. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in social media, content creation, marketing, or digital media who wants hands-on experience working inside a rapidly growing online brand.

Hours & Compensation Part-Time:

Approximately 15-25 hours per week

Preferred Schedule:

Around 10am-3pm, 3-5 days per week (flexible)

Pay:

$25-$28/hour depending on experience

Location Requirement:

Must live very close to our office in La Costa, Carlsbad (92009) — ideally within 10-15 minutes Responsibilities Upload and publish videos across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook Organize video clips and arrange timelines for compilations Assist with gathering props and supplies (Amazon orders and occasional store runs) Set up and clean up filming areas before and after shoots Keep production spaces tidy, stocked, and organized Occasionally engage with followers through comments and community interaction Run errands and assist with various day-to-day production tasks You'd Be a Great Fit If You… Are highly organized, reliable, and detail-oriented Enjoy checking tasks off and staying on top of moving parts Can multitask and stay calm in a fast-paced environment Are comfortable with technology and social media platforms Have reliable transportation and know the Carlsbad area well Enjoy creative environments and being part of a small but high-impact team Have an interest in social media, content creation, marketing, or video production Growth Opportunity There is strong potential for growth and increased responsibilities over time for the right person.
