This is more than a social media role, it's an opportunity to shape how the organization connects with and inspires its audiences through authentic storytelling, engaging content, and impactful digital campaigns. This role will manage social media channels, develop and execute digital strategies, produce content, and grow a vibrant online community. Through visuals, compelling stories, and live coverage of events, you will help ensure our messaging resonates and drives engagement. Role As our Social Media Manager & Digital Strategist, you will serve as the organization's digital voice and a strategic partner in amplifying programs, initiatives, and events. Working collaboratively across departments, you will create content that engages, educates, and inspires stakeholders while leveraging data to maximize reach, engagement, and impact. Key Responsibilities Social / Ad Strategy & Digital Growth Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with organizational priorities Identify trends and opportunities to expand reach and engagement across platforms Manage a consistent content calendar, including campaigns around programs, events, and initiatives Collaborate with leadership and teams to highlight organizational impact Content Creation & Storytelling Produce and publish high-quality content across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other platforms Design graphics and short-form video content using Canva, CapCut, or similar tools Capture authentic stories that reflect organizational impact and values Write thoughtful captions and narratives with a strong brand voice Community Engagement Actively manage and grow an engaged online community Respond to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely, professional manner Monitor conversations and address sensitive or complex topics appropriately Live Event Coverage Attend events to capture real-time content including photos, videos, and behind-the-scenes moments Provide live coverage through stories, posts, and quick-turnaround videos Produce post-event content such as recap videos and highlights Digital Media & Paid Advertising Plan, execute, and optimize paid social media campaigns on Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and Google Ads Target campaigns to drive event attendance, program awareness, and engagement Monitor campaign performance, optimize for reach and ROI, and provide reporting and recommendations Analytics & Optimization Track and analyze performance metrics to measure growth and engagement Use insights to refine strategy and improve content performance Provide regular reports and actionable recommendations Required Education & Experience Bachelor's degree 3-5+ years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, or content strategy Proven experience creating engaging content and growing digital communities Strong understanding of social media trends and platform best practices Proficiency in Canva, CapCut, or similar content creation tools Excellent writing, storytelling, and visual communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Self-motivated, organized, and able to problem-solve independently Why You Should Work Here We believe meaningful work begins with a supportive, mission-driven environment.
