Social Content Specialist

at Creative Circle, LLC in Chicago, Illinois, United States Job Description A Social Content Specialist is needed to create compelling, platform-native content that brings brand stories to life across social channels. This role is ideal for a highly creative individual who is comfortable both behind and in front of the camera, with the ability to produce and star in engaging social media content. The position focuses primarily on content creation with some community engagement responsibilities, contributing to brand voice, audience growth, and cultural relevance.

Location:

Greater Chicago area, hybrid model with 2 days per week onsite Required Qualifications 1+ years of experience in social media content creation, with flexibility for candidates who have acting or theatre experience or training Comfortable appearing on camera and performing in social media content Strong graphic design and video editing skills using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or CapCut Understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices across Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook Experience creating short-form video and static content aligned with brand guidelines Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including copywriting for social content Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment Experience with social media management tools such as Sprinklr is a plus Community management experience is a plus Bachelor degree in marketing, communications, design, or a related field preferred Bilingual Spanish is a plus Key Responsibilities Create engaging, platform-specific content including static graphics and short-form video Concept, produce, and star in social media content that captures attention and drives engagement Collaborate with cross-functional teams and partners to align content with brand strategy and campaigns Stay current on social media trends, platform updates, and emerging content formats Develop templates, creative assets, and toolkits to support ongoing content production Monitor and engage with audiences across social channels in a timely and brand-appropriate manner Respond to comments and messages while maintaining a consistent brand voice Identify and escalate emerging trends, issues, or opportunities to internal teams In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
