Overview:
We are seeking a creative, reliable, and outgoing student to join our team as a Social Media & Communications Student Worker. This role combines digital storytelling with in-person engagement to share the authentic student experience, support campus events, and help prospective students feel connected to our vibrant college community.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media & Digital Content Create engaging content (photos, videos, stories, reels, blogs) for official college social channels. Highlight student life, academics, campus events, and community engagement. Assist with planning and scheduling posts using a content calendar. Monitor social channels for trends, mentions, and engagement opportunities. Support live coverage for campus events, tours, or special programs. Stay informed on current social media trends and suggest innovative ways to enhance the college's online presence. Communications Support Help create email campaigns, Teams announcements, social media posts, and flyers to increase awareness of student services, activities, and opportunities.
Qualifications:
Current full-time student in good academic standing. Strong communication, writing, and interpersonal skills. Comfortable on camera and confident speaking to groups. Familiarity with platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn (experience preferred). Skills in photography, video editing, or graphic design are a plus.
