Job Description

The Social Media Intern will support the City of Lancaster's digital presence by creating, capturing, and sharing content that highlights events, local businesses, and community experiences.
  • Create and schedule social media content
  • Capture photo and video content at events and locations
  • Support promotion of City-led events
  • Monitor engagement and respond to comments/messages
  • Research trends and suggest content ideas
  • Maintain content calendar
  • Interest in marketing, communications, or related field
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Experience with social media platforms
  • Basic photography/video skills
  • Organized and creative
  • Experience with Canva or editing tools
  • Familiarity with Lancaster community/events
