In this role, you will develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies, harness the power of digital channels, and drive engagement through compelling content creation. Your expertise will help shape our identity, increase online visibility, and foster meaningful relationships with our audience. We are a Toro and Stihl exclusive dealership. Both 100+ yr old brands known for quality and reliability. We are also a certified Service Center for all brands of small engine and handheld tools and equipment. We will be looking to add other product lines as well. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate marketing professional eager to make a significant impact in the digital space. I have recently acquired the business. This company has been in the same location for 15 years and been successful despite mostly ignoring social media and Internet marketing. With the explosive growth all around us here in St. John's County there is a great opportunity before us. A successful candidate will drive growth through the social media and Internet channels but also by developing campaigns directed towards our considerable customer base. The wages will be commensurate with experience the earning potential will be commensurate with the growth we realize! I am willing to work with someone with the creativity and skill set required to do the job, a willingness to learn and the right attitude, everyone has to start somewhere. There will need to be more time on site initially to get familiar with what it is we do and what we're selling but the hours and where the work is done could ultimately be flexible. Responsibilities Develop and implement innovative social media marketing strategies aligned with overall brand goals to boost visibility and engagement. Oversee daily management of all social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and emerging channels using tools like Hootsuite or Buffer. Create, curate, and optimize engaging content—such as graphics, videos, photography, and written posts—using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) to ensure visual consistency and brand messaging. Conduct social listening to monitor brand reputation, industry trends, and customer feedback; utilize insights to refine campaigns and improve audience targeting. Manage paid advertising campaigns on Facebook Advertising and other platforms to maximize reach and ROI while analyzing performance metrics via Google Analytics and web analytics tools. Collaborate with public relations teams to coordinate branding efforts, manage relationship management initiatives, and enhance public perception through strategic communication. Perform keyword research for SEO purposes to improve organic search rankings; optimize content accordingly for better visibility in search engines. Track campaign performance using web analytics tools; prepare reports that highlight key metrics such as engagement rates, conversions, and audience growth. Stay current with digital marketing trends and emerging social media platforms to continuously innovate strategies that keep the brand ahead of the curve. Requirements Proven experience in social media marketing, digital marketing. Proficiency in graphic design software or the willingness and ability to learn. Strong knowledge of SEO best practices, keyword research techniques, and web analytics tools like Google Analytics. Social listening tools to monitor brand reputation and industry trends effectively. Skilled in video editing and photography to produce high-quality multimedia content that resonates with target audiences. Excellent proofreading skills with an eye for detail to ensure all content aligns with branding standards. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of creativity and professionalism. Strong relationship management skills to collaborate effectively across teams including PR, creative services, and sales.
